Here’s your latest fishing report from the Lake of the Woods Tourism Bureau. A lot of walleyes caught this week on the south shore of Lake of the Woods. Charter boats and guides are doing a nice job of finding good schools of eater walleyes as well as the slots and trophies. At times, eaters might be in a different location vs the big walleyes. Minnesota - Warrior Boats Open St. Louis River Duluth, MN August 1st 2021: Sunday, August 1, 2021: Minnesota - Mercury Marine Minnesota State Championship, Lake of the Woods, Baudette, MN August 20th/21st 2021: Friday, August 20, 2021 to Saturday, August 21, 2021.

Lodging in cabins
Each unit is complete with living room, two single beds per bedroom, bathroom, TV, towels & bedding. Based on availability, there are two, and three bedroom cabins at hand for reservations. For the 2021 season, we are requiring groups to be 4 or more.
American Plan meals
Featuring homestyle evening dinners (with salad & dessert), piping hot breakfasts & sack lunches prepared for you on your fishing days.
Beverages
Bring a small cooler for transporting your fish on the way home. Other than at breakfast, you are responsible for your own beverage during lunch & dinner. Our full service bar offers a complete list of beers, liquors, and non-alcoholic beverages. The gift shop also offers the sale of similar beverages, along with snacks & souvenirs.
MN fishing license required
You can purchase a MN angling license here at Ballard’s, cost for a MN Resident is $26 & non-resident 72 hour is $37. Your social security number is needed. Or, prior to the trip, go on-line at www.dnr.state.mn.us and obtain your license.
